Dengue fever can not be prevented unless its carrier Aedess mosquitos' breeding have been controlled completely. As it is known that its breeding requires stagnant water, so it is imperative to check and remove stagnant water in your home on different places as well as in the near vicinity of your residence especially tum pales, watering cans, plant pot plates, loosen soil from potted plants, air cooler unit, dropping of water from air conditioning units, fallen leaves from roof gutters are the common weak areas for accumulation of water. So it must be ensured that nothing may cause accumulation of water, what so ever.

Use of mosquito nets

Restrict children to play in open areas at dawn and dusk

Use insecticide sprays in houses and around the residences.

Take the diet helpful to increase blood platelet
